Are you an experienced Systems Engineering professional with a passion for satellite technology? Join a dynamic and innovative organization at the forefront of the space industry, where your expertise will guide the development and integration of cutting-edge satellite systems. We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineering Manager to lead our efforts in satellite system design, integration, and testing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of satellite system design, integration, and testing, with strong familiarity in mini satellite systems (150-400 kg).
- Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of ECSS or equivalent standards, coupled with a solid understanding of satellite systems engineering principles.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities, with a proactive approach to resolving complex satellite system challenges.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the capacity to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate across various engineering fields and management domains, providing comprehensive oversight of systems engineering activities for portfolio companies.
- Comprehensive Engineering Leadership: Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of satellite systems, from initial design and integration to rigorous testing and qualification.
- Architecture Development: Analyze customer requirements and develop a robust overall system architecture for satellite missions, ensuring exceptional performance and mission success.
- Project Oversight: Lead or support significant satellite programs, steering key initiatives while adhering to technical specifications and project timelines.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs and processes comply with ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization) or equivalent standards, driving operational excellence.
- Holistic System Design: Oversee system design, including hardware, software, and operational processes to meet mission objectives and assure product quality.
- Risk Analysis: Conduct RAMS analyses (such as FMEA, FMECA, and Safety Analysis) to identify potential risks and enhance system reliability and performance.
- Efficiency Enhancement: Continuously analyze and maximize the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources and processes.
