Description:
We are looking to appoint an experienced and approachable lifeguard to join our Saturday Swim School team. With a pool on site, we want to help all swimmers to gain the lifelong skill of swimming safely whilst enjoying the process.
The successful candidate’s key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the safety for all pool users by enforcing rules effectively.
- Maintaining clean and presentable appearance to the poolside and changing room areas.
- Assisting in setting up and putting away equipment.
- Addressing customer queries and concerns between lessons.
A current NPLQ and pediatric first aid qualification are essential. A lifeguard with previous experience, particularly in a role with regular customer interaction and administrational duties, is highly desirable.
This role will require someone to work on Saturdays, from 7:45am to 12.45pm, for 30 weeks per year during the school’s term time. Once situated in, there will be additional opportunities to work in the school holidays, as part of crash courses and holiday camps.
