• Afternoon Shift - Monday to Thursday 4:00 pm - 2:30 am (+$4.00)
• Weekend Shift 10 hrs - Friday - Monday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (+$7.00)
• Weekend Shift 12 hrs - Friday - Sunday 3:00 pm - 3:00 am (+$7.00

Must be able to train on Day Shift for 2-3 weeks before moving to these shifts.

The Saw / Machine Operator / Flamecut Operator reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Main Responsibilities

• Operation of CNC saws, brake, shear and/or flame cut machines.
• Read drawings
• Measure work pieces using fractional tape measure
• Must have a strong work ethic
• Meticulously organized and ability to keep a clean workspace
• Quick to learn new skills
• Strong attention to detail

Secondary Responsibilities

• Good communication with co-workers in a collaborative team environment
• Develop and maintain a regular cleaning schedule to ensure the machine shop is kept tidy and well organized upon completion of work assignments

• Able to work autonomously and uses good decision-making practices

• Good written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with operation of CNC saws preferred
• Must be able to work efficiently and keep the workflow moving
• Understand and perform safe work practices
• Overhead crane training an asset

Physical Requirements

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs - fitness test required
• Standing on your feet for a long period of time
• Have good eye to hand coordination
• Be able to bend, crouch and kneel for extended periods
• Ability to wear personal protective gear most of the day

Shift Availability

• Days - Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Afternoon Shift - Monday to Thursday 4:00 pm - 2:30 am (+$4.00)
• Weekend Shift 10 hrs - Friday - Monday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (+$7.00)
• Weekend Shift 12 hrs - Friday - Sunday 3:00 pm - 3:00 am (+$7.00)
