Description:
THE JOB
As a Schedule Performance Analyst you will be responsible for driving improvements to the performance and stability of easyJet’s flying schedule using a variety of tools and analyses while also protecting easyJet’s expansive slot portfolio.
The analytical capability and data driven solutions delivered by you will influence revenue improvement and cost reduction scenarios applied into easyJet’s schedule.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
In summary, you will be developing, calibrating, and utilising the tools available to easyJet Scheduling and provide your guidance to others
You will assist in innovative projects that explore how we approach Schedule Optimisation, liaising with key stakeholders and driving value.
Build scenarios to explore structural schedule changes required to accommodate improved operational resilience, optimised commercial returns, crew efficiencies, asset utilisation and enhancing out slot portfolio according to easyJet’s priorities
Support Operational Teams through what-if schedules, using experience and innovation to influence decisions
Assist internal and external stakeholders through existing processes and into new processes, giving data-driven insights and persuasive logic-based arguments
Build Schedules for different base scenarios and supporting required workstreams.
Where necessary, assist in analytical projects and produce high quality results as part of a team and working individually
Using analytical techniques as well as existing tools, deliver on optimisation objectives according to operational and commercial requirements
Requirements of the Role
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO THIS ROLE
A Love of data and an innovative mindset!
In order to carry out this role you will need to have proven and advanced analytical skills along with data modelling and/or a relevant degree
Expert knowledge of MS Office is essential, (particularly Excel and Powerpoint) and knowledge of advanced scheduling systems, including Sabre AirVision and Amadeus SkySuite, would be great but are not essential. You will also ideally have a working knowledge of SQL data mining tools with the ability to extract and manipulate data
Last but not least, we are in need of candidates who are tenacious with the ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing environment and who have great communication skills.
