Description:

Scheduling, coordination, and product inventory accounting for all product movements into and through numerous KMST terminals. Provide adminstrative oversight of all product receipts by pipeline, rail, truck, and vessel from customers. Manage product inventory within the terminals and accounting for product liftings out of terminals by stockholders. Important consideration given to marker, supplier, and customer needs; product quality, facility/system capabilities and constraints, and contractual obligations and commercial terms.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

-Maintain accurate inventory control and accountability of all products and customer inventories within terminals on a daily basis. Assess daily inventory to assure adequate inventory is available for all upcoming receipts into the terminal and assure adequate inventory is available to satisfy all anticipated liftings out of the terminal. These duties involve both short-term projections (24-72 hours ahead) and long-term projections (up to 4-5 weeks ahead).

  • Monitor and coordinate all product nominations and receipts from customers on a continual basis each day.
  • Assure allocated capacity and contracted tank space is available per contracts with all stockholders.
  • Work with field operations and ACC quality personnel to assure integrity of product quality is maintained at all times and remains in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain daily contact with suppliers and customers to coordinate product movements into through the terminal. Promptly resolve issues with suppliers and customers regarding product nominations, movements, and/or inventories.
  • Work with KM Business Development regarding customer needs and product allocation within the terminal, as well as future business opportunities.
  • Promptly respond to and address customer issues that arise beyond normal working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
