Description:
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
- Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:
- SAP knowledge and experience
- Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software

The Collins facility in Melbourne, FL, engineers, designs, develops, and manufactures aviation electronics for Commercial Systems.
Our business continues to grow, and we are adding a scheduling analyst to our team. In this role, you would plan and prepare manufacturing production schedules, assess changes, and improve processes for maximum efficiency.
You will be a contributor to team success by tracking the status of material availability, and mitigating potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, and materials are available as needed. Attention to detail and effective communication are critical skills for preparing reports and ensuring cross functional collaboration with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and other groups.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials are timed to meet production requirements
- Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders
- Review and maintain master production schedule (MPS).
- Compile information, prepare and maintain production reports so that performance problems can be identified and resolved.
- Contact suppliers to verify shipment details in order to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of shipments.
- Track delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite the flow of materials and meet production schedules.
- Participate in schedule preparation and/or shipments as needed to ensure timeliness of operations.
This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program.
