Description:

Scheduling Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Scheduling coordinator is responsible for creating a full schedule of patients, both in restorative and hygiene. This role involves building relationships with patients, understanding their needs, and ensuring they receive the utmost quality of care. The ideal candidate is sales oriented, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about helping patients achieve their oral health needs. This position is full time with two evenings required per week. Daily training on sales is required.

Success Looks Like:

  • Having a full schedule in both restorative and hygiene
  • Having limited cancellations in the schedule
  • Booking patients according to the scheduling protocols
  • Ensuring patients are not only satisfied with their care, but are also highly impressed which leads to higher patient retention and referrals
  • Participating in the daily sales training that is funded by the company
  • Having an excellent understanding of the dental services our clinic offers

Objectives:

  • Identify outstanding treatment
  • Make 100-200 outbound calls daily
  • Develop and maintain a list of patients who you contact and who you booked in for treatment
  • Achieve and exceed daily and weekly metrics, targets, and monthly production
  • Create and maintain strong patient relationships by meeting patients where they are at and helping them with receive the treatment needed
  • Provide consistent follow ups and ongoing communication to ensure patient satisfaction
  • Implement sales strategies taught in training to meet or exceed targets
  • Track and report performance, including number of calls, appointments booked, and daily production
  • Promote services offered to patients over the phone and in person
  • Understand metrics and how it impacts further career opportunity and promotion
  • Develop expertise within the dental field to ensure explanations to patients are easy to understand
  • Represent House Dental at fundraising events in the community, and other events as needed

Competencies:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in client facing industries
  • Strong ability to meet and exceed daily targets
  • Highly motivated, driven and hardworking
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to sell treatment to patients and ensure the quality of care goes above and beyond patient expectations

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a sales environment
