Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Administrative Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organisation’s administrative functions. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage a variety of tasks efficiently while providing support to various departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating office activities, maintaining records, and assisting in the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain and organise filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, for easy access to information.
  • Prepare reports and presentations as required by management.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating interviews and onboarding new staff members.
  • Educate staff on administrative policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance workplace productivity.
  • Manage correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and other communications to ensure timely responses.
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
  • Support budget management by tracking expenses and assisting with financial reporting.
