JOB DESCRIPTION

The Accommodation Officer is responsible for facilitating the placement of individuals or groups into suitable accommodation. This position involves liaising with students, agents, host families, and other stakeholders to coordinate placements, ensure client satisfaction, and maintain accurate records.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s required
Field of Administration or study abroad preferred
Fluent in English
Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written
Pro-active, enthusiastic and flexible
High level of Excel skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €28,000.00-€30,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  1. Placement Coordination: Responsible for the placement process by coordinating placements, circulating confirmation documents and other necessary paperwork between students, agents and families, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  2. Host Coordination: Source and evaluate suitable accommodation options based on student and company requirements, communicate expectations and term terms with the host, and coordinate house viewings.
  3. Student Residence Coordination: Send weekly check-in reports to the student residence, liaise with admissions team and residence to ensure timely communication and maintain high standards of accommodation.
  4. Student Support: Provide ongoing support and assistance to students throughout the placement process, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise and advocating on their behalf when necessary.
  5. Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student information, host family profiles, and placement status using database.
  6. Communication: Communicate effectively with students, agents, host families and other stakeholders via phone, email, or in person to ensure clear and timely exchange of information.
  7. Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new families, including gathering necessary documentation, conducting property inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  8. Maintain and Expand Active Family Network: Identify and recruit new families to expand the accommodation options available to students, including families in new areas. Develop and maintain relationships with host families.
  9. Emergency Phone Management: Take charge of the school emergency phone, answering calls promptly, and providing immediate assistance during designated duty weeks.
