Job Description
We are hiring now at all levels for our school aged programs. The YMCA’s Youth Programs are growing fast, and we are seeking outstanding staff to support our expanding school-age offerings and grow into leadership roles.
We are looking for candidates who love to get creative with construction paper and duct tape, who are happy to help kids with even the most challenging homework and who are always ready for a game of tag. We are looking for staff to ensure our kiddos are safe, secure and engaged while teaching them our core values: respect, responsibility, honesty and caring. Help us make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve each day in our programs.
Shifts/Hours: Program hours are mornings 6:45am-8am (9am on Wednesdays) and/or 2:30-6:00pm M-F and more hours available on days when school is out for full day camp. We prefer staff to be available at least 3 consistent days per week, but we are also looking for substitutes. You can choose to do just before school, just after school, or a combination.
Salary range: $16.00 - 18 per hour based on experience, availability, and state licensing guidelines. This position is part time, year round with opportunities for full time for summer season. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff (Spanish and English).
