JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that our facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained, while also managing various projects to enhance operational effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising teams effectively.
  • Strong project management abilities with a track record of successful project completion.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, and facility maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to building systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

DUTIES

  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance staff, ensuring effective performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Manage the upkeep of all facilities, including regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and systems.
  • Oversee projects related to facility improvements, including planning, execution, and monitoring progress.
  • Maintain schematics and documentation for all electrical and mechanical systems within the facilities.
  • Utilise logic controllers for system management and troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facility needs align with organisational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
