Description:
Golden State TRIAD (a state certified nonpublic agency) is seeking to hire another Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to work in the Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) Department within the assigned school program.
BCBAs provide ongoing RBT, school staff and parent training on ABA principles, provide supervision for RBTs and provide supervision to school staff based on recommendations from FBA, crisis intervention, and consultation for assigned school program students at multiple school sites throughout the District and non-public schools the District is contracted with.
Mileage reimbursement is provided outside of once daily travel to and from assigned office.
Essential Functions:
- Consult with school staff to develop Behavior Support Plan (BSP)
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and assist with the development of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Attend and collaborate with student IEP’s
- Develop individualized treatment plans (e.g., goals, objectives, and interventions)
- Provide direct treatment to children with Autism and other developmental disorders in the school settings when needed
- Update student quarterly progress reports on goals
- Measure and monitor student progress towards behavioral goals
- Communicate clearly through all mediums
- Collaborate with mental health clinicians and other related service providers in the district working with students as a means of effectively supporting students and strategies (at home and school) to optimize the overall program and progress of the student
- Work with parents to maintain consistency in implementing behavioral interventions
- Maintain student records and confidentiality
- Create and provide trainings for RBTs, school staff and parents to ensure we are in compliance with the BACB and up-to-date on recent behavior intervention research.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator
Job Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or related field
- BCBA certification required
- Experience providing ABA treatment, preferably in the school environment
- Ability to manage maladaptive behavior using the principles of ABA
- Excellent clinical and leadership skills
- Experience serving individuals with varying diagnoses, diverse levels of functioning, and a broad range of ages
- Excellent report writing skills, graphing
- Experience in assessment and behavior intervention strategies
- Self-motivated, responsible, honest, articulate, excellent organizational and time management skills
