JOB OPPORTUNITY: SCHOOL CHEF (TEMPORARY ONGOING ASSIGNMENT)

Are you a talented chef with a passion for cooking and baking? Do you have experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable School Chef to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a chef or cook, with strong baking skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (mandatory)
• Passion for delivering high-quality, balanced meals
• Excellent communication and teamworking skills

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and cook nutritious, tasty meals for students and staff
• Create a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and breads
• Follow food safety standards and ensure a clean, safe kitchen environment
• Assist with menu planning and ensure dietary requirements are met
• Work collaboratively with the school’s catering team to ensure smooth daily operations
