ARE YOU A DYNAMIC MANAGER INTERESTED IN LEADING THE DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONAL DELIVERY OF LANCASHIRE SCHOOL LIBRARY SERVICE AS A TRADED BUSINESS SERVICE?

We are looking for our next School Library Service Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provision of school library services to primary, special and nursery schools across Lancashire.
The ideal applicant will have a customer-focused manner, prioritising the customer experience, as well as an ability to engage and inspire a team in delivering high-quality reading and library services to schools. A knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning and the National Curriculum as they relate to the provision of reading resources to schools is essential.
This is a permanent post based at the Lancashire School Library Service, A128 -A129 Tustin Way, Longridge Road Preston PR2 5LX. The hours are 37 per week working Monday to Friday.
You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.

Lancashire School Library Service operates as a business service and customer satisfaction is important. We work with primary, special and nursery schools to deliver reading and library services which are purchased through annual Service Level Agreements. We provide a range of services to help support schools with teaching and learning.
