The College of Health and Science is a vibrant and ambitious College with a keen focus on supporting and developing Professional Services colleagues. We have an exciting new opportunity to join us as School Manager in the School of Natural Sciences.
The School of Natural Sciences brings together a range of disciplines, allowing students to benefit from a wide range of complementary teaching by academics with broad expertise, from the molecular level through to the environments in which we exist, and everything in between. The School provides an exciting environment with a focus on excellence in teaching and research, enabling students and staff to pursue their scientific ambitions.
In this role, you will work closely with the Head of School and other colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of a range of priorities. You will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of a team of administrators, and will work with colleagues across the University to support the School’s strategic aims. This will include close collaborative working with Student Registry Services, Student Support services, and other key teams involved in ensuring the delivery of a consistently excellent experience for students over a wide range of programmes. You will also work with Estates, Compliance, Digital Technologies, and other central teams to develop positive working relationships to ensure effective delivery over a range of operational areas.
You will work closely with Professional Services colleagues across the College to develop best practices and ensure the effective flow of information in support of the School and College’s goals.
If you’re a confident communicator who can work across multiple priorities, and you are looking for an opportunity to develop your skills as part of an ambitious and dynamic team in an environment where no two days are the same, we would love to hear from you. For further information or an informal discussion about the role, please contact Stephanie Berezina, Senior Operations Manager, at sberezina@lincoln.ac.uk.
In support of our commitment to developing colleagues by providing opportunities for internal movement and promotion, applications for this opportunity will only be accepted from people who are currently employed by the University of Lincoln, our current students, and any currently engaged agency workers who have been with us for more than 12 weeks. We actively encourage applications from all colleagues across the University with the relevant skills and experience
