Description:

The Institute for Social Sciences of the Department of Cultural and Social Sciences is seeking a

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completed academic degree in political and/or social sciences with a very good grade
  • Solid knowledge of quantitative methods (data collection, processing, and analysis) and corresponding software skills (Stata or R)
  • Good oral and written proficiency in English

Responsibilities:

  • Participation in research projects in the field of quantitative analysis of political attitudes and political behavior in contexts of extremism, violence, and autocratic rule
  • Teaching in the field of Comparative Political Science for two contact hours per week within the bachelor’s and master’s programs of the institute
  • Involvement in the preparation and follow-up of courses as well as the supervision of bachelor’s and master’s theses
  • Opportunity for further academic qualification (PhD)
