CASUAL RELIEF – SCHOOL OFFICE ADMINISTRATORS
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable professionals to join our casual relief pool as School Office Administrators/Receptionists. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a school setting and are flexible with availability to cover areas such as Visitor Reception, Junior and Middle School Reception and our back-office administration team.
The successful candidate must possess the following skillset:
- A warm, welcoming customer service approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced front-facing team environment
- Accurate Data entry and use of Microsoft Office suite with fast typing skills
- Ability to multitask and provide a high-level administrative support to school leadership and teaching staff as required
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails and other enquiries in a professional, helpful manner
- Perform student reception duties including student attendance records, late arrivals, photocopying, mail distribution etc.
- Administer first aid and assist with sick bay if required
- Assist with school tour/excursion and volunteer administration
- Coordinate administration of School activities and celebrations
The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written). and be able to communicate sensitively and confidentially with parents, students and other staff. As a prospective member of the St Hilda’s Community, you must be willing to support the Staff Code of Conduct and the stated values and Anglican Ethos of the School.
The successful applicant must hold a Paid Blue Card and be willing to have their name submitted to the Anglican Church’s Professional Standards Register.
