Description:

The School of Biological Sciences is seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic School Operations Administrator to provide comprehensive and proactive administrative support for a large team of Teaching, Learning and Student Experience (TLSE) professional services (PS) staff and TLSE activities undertaken in the School. The role holder will provide high level, proactive, comprehensive and efficient diary and administrative support to the Director of TLSE and Head of Teaching, Learning and Student Experience, and other senior colleagues within the TLSE management team. The role will involve considerable communication with a wide range of personnel, both internally and externally, and you will be required to work co-operatively as part of the School Office and wider PS team.
With significant PA and administrative experience, you will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate tact and discretion when dealing with confidential/sensitive issues. You will be responsible for managing a diverse workload and for ensuring that deadlines are met. You will have the ability to organise your own workload, working flexibly and on your own initiative. Excellent IT skills are essential.
