Science Lab Assistant

We are looking for a Science Lab assistant for our Middle & High School department on our Hawally Campus.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BA in Science or Scientific related field
• Fluent in English
• Must be in Kuwait with valid & transferrable residency

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provides support to science teachers in the science laboratories.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain a safe, clean and orderly lab environment.
2. Maintain inventory records of all lab equipment, supplies and order supplies annually or as needed.
3. Assist the classroom instructor in setting up lab projects and experiments in the lab and/or classroom.
4. Control and maintain strict lab safety standards according to ECIS and MSA accreditation standards.
5. Provide guidance and assistance to lab students to successfully complete experiments, projects, and other assigned lab activities.
6. Develop and maintain strict procedures in the proper use and handling of lab equipment and supplies.
7. Assist students in the application of basic lab concepts and practices.
8. Perform other tasks as may be directed by the Principal.
