Bishop Auckland College are seeking to appoint a Science Lab Technician.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and preparing the laboratory, supporting teachers and students during practical sessions and ensuring the safe use of equipment and chemicals in the lab. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for science, strong organisational skills and a keen eye for safety and precision.
The successful candidate will hold a level 2 qualification in a relevant subject or have a relevant science background. It is also essential that the candidate have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in an education environment.
This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
