Dalby Christian College (QLD) is a co-educational, Prep-Year 12 Christian School with secondary boarding and an Early Learning Centre. The College was established in 1981 and teaches from a Biblical Christian Worldview with the purpose of equipping young people of character and purpose in Christ.
The College is seeking a part time Science Laboratory Assistant to commence term 1, 2025.
The Laboratory Assistant will maintain the laboratories, equipment and materials in a manner which allows their efficient use for practical Science activities by the schools teaching staff and students.

The successful applicant will have:

• Sound knowledge of general scientific equipment and ability to maintain the equipment and laboratory in a clean and workable order.
• Experience in the preparation of laboratory solutions and the handling, storing and disposal of chemicals in compliance with regulations.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining a safe working environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and support and serve the teaching team.
• Tertiary Laboratory/Scientific qualifications or equivalent – desirable
• The desire and capacity to support students in their learning.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• A strong affiliation and support of the Christian Ethos of the College.
