JOB SUMMARY

British Spring College is looking to recruit teachers for the following subjects: Computer studies, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Music

• Minimum Qualification : HND
• Experience Level : Mid level
• Experience Length : 3 years

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years of teaching experience in an international school.
• Experience preparing students for IGCSE exam is an added advantage.

• Plan, prepare instructional materials and deliver lessons that facilitate active learning
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
• Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instructions
• Manage students’ behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
• Maintain discipline in line with the rules and disciplinary measures of the school
• Provide appropriate feedback on students’ progress and work generally
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies where necessary
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development
• Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws and policies of the school
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
• Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities
• Observe and evaluate students’ performance and development
• Grade class work, homework, test and assignment
• Perform any other task that may be assigned to you from time to time.
