Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Science team at Gower College Swansea working at Gorseinon and Tycoch Campus.

  • Full-time (37 hours per week)
  • Term time (36 weeks per annum)
  • Fixed term for 1 year, covering maternity leave
  • £18,698 - £19,097 per annum
  • Gorseinon & Tycoch campus

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaise with teaching staff to support the delivery of A Level and Vocational Science courses
  • Ensure that all practical sessions are planned effectively and a safe working environment is maintained
  • Complete First Responder training and undertake the duties

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST GO THROUGH FIRST RESPONDER TRAINING AND UNDERTAKE THE DUTIES. UPON COMPLETION OF TRAINING, YOU WILL RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL £50 PER MONTH.

Appointments will normally be made to the bottom of the salary scale with annual increments on 1st August each year (subject to a start date before 1st February)
