Description:
As a scientific advisor on the adoption of artificial intelligence, you will play a key role in helping CRIM’s customers make decisions on opportunities and strategies for leveraging data, adopting technologies and, more generally, adopting artificial intelligence.
You’ll be at the heart of a wide range of short-term consulting, skills upgrading and mentoring activities. In collaboration with other CRIM experts, you’ll carry out projects of varying scope, putting your ability to grasp the complexity of industrial problems and their business needs to good use.
To succeed in this position, the consultant will need to combine two passions. On the one hand, data science, artificial intelligence and its various applications, and on the other, knowledge transfer to technical and non-technical audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, data science or equivalent training with specialization in data science;
- Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in a similar position;
- Good knowledge of data science and machine learning;
- Mastery of an appropriate basic data science toolkit for simple proof-of-concept/validation;
- Knowledge of a scientific programming language: R, Python;
- Understanding machine learning methods
- Understanding the field of automatic language processing
- Experience with data visualization tools and libraries (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Plotly);
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English.

Responsibilities:
More specifically, under the direction of the Senior Director, Research and Development, the Scientific advisor on the adoption of artificial intelligence will be responsible for:
- Advise and support organizations in defining and implementing their data exploitation strategies;
- Act as a CRIM ambassador at various events
- Provide leadership and high-level expertise to CRIM clients
- Promoting the emergence of data science projects
- Be at the heart of mentoring, training and coaching activities in the implementation of data exploitation strategies for CRIM’s clients.
- Collaborate with CRIM experts to develop customized responses to customer needs
- Conduct training and mentoring sessions for CRIM customers.
