QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- BSc/MSc in Life Sciences (Biology/Chemistry), Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science (or a related field) and 3+ years of experience in life sciences (academia and/or industry).
- You have knowledge of the pharmaceutical research IT/informatics domain and broad expertise ranging from research data management to scientific digital solutions, including the ability to perform hands on technical work.
- You have relevant technical knowledge to configure / administer / maintain (vendor or home-built) digital solutions.
- You have solid knowledge in a scripting language, e.g., Python, R, or similar to be able to transform / analyze various scientific data. SQL Scripting knowledge is an advantage.
Moreover, you are solution-oriented, a quick learner, and open to explore and learn new digital tools and technologies. You negotiate complex expectations with a structured approach and have the ability to thrive amidst ambiguity and discern the unexpressed problems and derived requirements for digital solutions in a complex global research organization. Having previous experience in change management and user adoption is an advantage.
