IT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU ALSO POSSESS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN:

  • Some inside sales experience in the Life Science tools space/systems sales
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • A Ph.D. and strong nanoparticle formulation or cell/molecular biology background is an asset

Responsibilities:

Are you looking to transition from bench to industry where you will be able to apply your scientific knowledge in industry? In this role you will be coached and mentored to ensure your career development progresses with you professional and scientific aspirations. You will be assisting scientists in the field to reach their research goals by representing Cytiva in the pre-clinical research space. The Scientific Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for top of funnel generation where they work to qualify and prospect new business opportunities.

  • Actively generate new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold phone calls, email messages and other direct marketing methods
  • Identify/Qualify leads and route sales opportunities to Nanomedicine’s Regional Sales Managers for further development and closure
  • Collaborate with a regional team to develop strategy to find new business which contributes to the pipeline target of the sales group to hit regional sales targets
  • Introduce leads to product and service offerings in an informative and attractive way while demonstrating command of scientific knowledge
  • Consistently log and maintain account and customer contact management in CRM system (SFDC)
