Description:
This is a unique opportunity for a Python Software Engineer to join a product development business focused on sustainability with the utilisation of AI and innovative algorithms.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A graduate degree in a STEM subject.
- 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in Python.
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and software engineering principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
They are looking for a talented Scientific Software Engineer with a strong background in physics or thermodynamics to help develop innovative algorithms that evaluate thermal imagery and working on dynamic 3D thermal models, machine learning, and more.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development of algorithms to assess energy efficiency from thermal images.
- Prototype and test 3D thermal models using tools.
- Develop and train predictive machine learning models.
- Write clean, maintainable code and own the full lifecycle of algorithms.
- Contribute to design and architecture discussions, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest in building performance and predictive technologies.
