Description:
THE POSITION
Genentech’s Department of Cell and Tissue Genomics - Oncology is seeking a creative and motivated Scientist 3 to generate, analyze, and interpret data from multimodal single-cell datasets and high-content screens to discover/prioritize oncology targets. The successful candidate will leverage large-scale single-cell genomics data to study cancer cell states in disease and therapy response, lead hypothesis generation efforts and test these experimentally in close collaboration with other members of the department. Strong expertise with multimodal single-cell data analysis is required. Experience with chromatin profiling (e.g. ChIP-seq, CUT&RUN, CUT&TAG) is a plus. This is a mixed computational/ wet-lab position involving collaboration with interdisciplinary teams including oncology, translational medicine, NGS, epigenetics, bioinformatics, and AI/ML.
