Description:

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Performing assigned tasks under minimal supervision in support of approved research and development projects
  • Following established procedures, protocols or best practices for the characterization of polymers, including but not limited to HPLC, GC, GPC and other relevant techniques.
  • Applying chemistry and analytical technical skills to complete assigned work, and solves routine problems. Providing assistance in the design and execution of next experiment.
  • Thoroughly and clearly documenting experiments in laboratory notebook and assisting in preparation of technical Documents.
  • Effectively communicating and collaborating with colleagues within functional sub-team, and with supervisor and/or senior staff.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree (Chemistry preferred)
  • Experience with Analytical Chemistry and Separation Science.
  • Experience with Chromatography.
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, especially adherence to good documentation.
