Description:
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Performing assigned tasks under minimal supervision in support of approved research and development projects
- Following established procedures, protocols or best practices for the characterization of polymers, including but not limited to HPLC, GC, GPC and other relevant techniques.
- Applying chemistry and analytical technical skills to complete assigned work, and solves routine problems. Providing assistance in the design and execution of next experiment.
- Thoroughly and clearly documenting experiments in laboratory notebook and assisting in preparation of technical Documents.
- Effectively communicating and collaborating with colleagues within functional sub-team, and with supervisor and/or senior staff.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science Degree (Chemistry preferred)
- Experience with Analytical Chemistry and Separation Science.
- Experience with Chromatography.
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, especially adherence to good documentation.
