SCIENTIST BIOCHEMISTRY (ALL GENDERS)

We are seeking a passionate and skilled biochemist to join our Early Discovery team, focusing on identifying and characterizing herbicide targets at the molecular level.
Responsibilities:
- You work as an enthusiastic researcher in a dynamic, scientifically exciting global network that spans agro and pharma, investigating novel targets for herbicide discovery using both in-vitro and in-vivo techniques
- Part of your role is to be familiar with and to develop new computational technologies, such as comparative genomics, molecular modeling, or biomolecule structure prediction, to identify herbicide targets
- You utilize biochemistry techniques like protein expression and purification, enzyme kinetics, and develop biochemical assays to characterize herbicide targets
- Designing and executing experiments in the laboratory are part of your responsibilities
- You analyze data and interpret results to identify effective herbicide target candidates
- You join an empowered team of biochemists and molecular biologists, working closely with experts from various scientific disciplines, including chemists, biologists, and data scientists, within a global R&D organization
- Developing yourself and supporting the growth of your teammates through continuous learning and feedback is part of your role
- You prepare and present research findings to internal teams and at scientific conferences
