YOUR MISSION
With immediate effect, we are looking to hire a passionate Scientist – Computational Biology [f/m/d] into our Assay Development team. By closely working with biologists and biomedical experts, you will be responsible for computational downstream analysis of high-dimensional spatial single cell data with a strong focus on immuno-oncology.
This is a full-time role, based in the company office in Monheim am Rhein, Germany, where you will be working in close interaction with the Application Development, Molecular Biology and the Data Science team. It comes with the opportunity to work with other company sites around the world.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely within teams to apply software tools and pipelines for computational downstream analysis of molecular cartography spatial multi-omic datasets.
- Draw biological conclusions from high-dimensional single cell data (imaging and sequencing-based), e.g., by analyzing cell types, differential expression, cellular neighborhoods, and cell-cell communication.
- Evaluation of technical influence on data analysis results (e.g., cell segmentation)
- Evaluate targeted gene panels for performance and accuracy.
- Collect requirements from team members and other project teams.
- Train and support internal users of data analysis tools and pipelines.
- Work effectively with internal developers and external partners in achieving shared project goals and timelines.
- Responsible for personal work planning against agreed-upon objectives.
