A
s Scientist in Laboratory Automation Development, you will be part of Analytical Development consisting of 40 committed colleagues divided into 4 departments and a core team. You will report directly to the Associate Director of Laboratory Automation Development. The team, consisting of five skilled experts, is expanded to support robotic process automation initiatives. All deliveries in the Laboratory Automation Development are made with a high focus on quality and regulatory requirements. Organisationally, Analytical Development is part of Global CMC Development in R&D.
Responsibilities:
- Perform qualification and implementation of new analytical instruments and validation of computerized systems.
- Ensure that the validated state of our systems is maintained.
- Engage in cross-functional activities, collaborating closely with IT and analytical laboratory teams to streamline operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory practices and protocols.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a Scientist who:
- Has an educational background with a Bachelor or Master’s degree within engineering, natural science or equivalent.
- Are eager to learn and contribute to solving the tasks of the department.
- Has interest in qualification and validation of analytical instruments and software.
- Can challenge status quo and optimise processes.
- Is adaptable and solution-oriented, ready to contribute to the team’s implementation of AI and robotic process automation solutions to streamline processes and drive innovation.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
