REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology/Biomedical engineering, or other related field). Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Knowledge and experience with cell culture media and/or peptones/hydrolysates
- Knowledge and experience with small scale cell culture techniques
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced research environment and deliver detailed results

Responsibilities:
- Support Key Driver Identification (KDI) peptone/hydrolysate project teams
- Create and use batch records to formulate powder and liquid pilot material
- Complete approved study plans to assess physical and biological performance of the media and peptones
- Handle inventories of chemicals and other supplies
- Ensure pilot equipment and rooms are well maintained
- Conduct experiments, analyze data, and suggest next experimental steps to the technical project leader
- Identify areas for improvement and innovation for the KDI and Media Format programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new methodologies and technologies
