APPLICATION SCIENTIST-II DUALBEAM (SEMICONDUCTOR)

Thermo Fisher Scientific is searching for opening is for a dynamic, self-motivated individual in the early stages of their professional career to support groundbreaking electron microscopy instrumentation as an Application Scientist. As a member of this team, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team including sales representatives, marketing professionals, product specialists and other applications teams to support leading semiconductor companies be successful with their process control, failure analysis and R&D needs.

The Applications Scientist provides technical expertise in the support of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s sales efforts at specific semiconductor customer sites

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform high quality DualBeam product demonstrations. This includes developing innovative techniques and applications for partners and customers of Thermo Fisher Scientific in the semiconductor marketplace.
  • Conduct customer training and translate customer needs into workable solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to determine customer needs and provide technical solutions

Responsibilities:

Demonstrating the ability to follow set tasks and assignments as an individual contributor, whilst also exhibiting an innovative attitude.

  • Excellent, enthusiastic, clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with a diverse audience are critical to the success of this position.
  • Proficiency in German would be highly beneficial
