  • MS in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or related field (PhD is preferred). Equivalent experience in the field will also be considered.

EXPERIENCE

  • At least three (3) years of related experience
  • Experience in mechanistic biological models, stoichiometric modeling, flux balance analysis (FBA)
  • Experience with pathway enrichment, network analysis and multi-omics (proteomics and metabolomics) integration.
  • Experience in building machine learning and statistical models.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
  • Familiar with relational database (e.g. SQL, Oracle) and graph database (e.g. Neo4j)
  • Builds dashboards for data visualization (e.g. RShiny, Tableau, Power BI, Python Dash)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Knowledge in molecular and cellular biology.
  • Strong understanding of statistical inference and machine learning techniques.
