WHAT WILL YOU DO? AND HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

You will join an outstanding team of scientists and engineers and will focus on instrumentation development for Cryo-EM sample preparation. Cryo-EM workflow is a multi-step process that involves multiple interconnected hardware and software systems to prepare and qualify samples, recording vast amounts of data and images, and processing the collected data into meaningful information. The focus of this position is on creating experimental test stands allowing proof of principle and proof of concept development. The purpose is to develop new methods for embedding proteins within a thin layer of ice on a TEM grid. These science-intensive investigations will lead to early adopter testing and then to full commercialization. You will work closely with other scientists, architects, project managers within the larger Research & Development organization, as well as business unit, sourcing, operations, and service partners.
