Description:

YOUR MISSION

This is an exciting fully lab-based role in which we are looking for a scientist with an immuno-oncology and pharmacology background. This role entails utilising innovative ideas for assay development to identify pathway biology of novel drug targets. Making use of a wide range of cellular, immunological, biochemical, molecular biology and functional genomic approaches, such as CRISPR/Cas9, you will validate drug targets and novel therapeutic agents including ADC’s.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and perform experiments aimed at oncology and fibrosis target discovery and validation.
  • Contribute to ongoing research on oncology and fibrosis drug discovery projects.
  • Establish different robust cell-based assays aimed at target discovery, MOA validation and drug screening.
  • Establish and maintain mono and co-cultures of primary cells and cell lines.
  • Independently analyse, interpret, report and present results.

ABOUT US

We are pioneering the way to significantly improve the lives of fibrosis and solid tumour patients and their families. Through our unique understanding of the extra-cellular matrix (ECM), and our world-class technology and approach, we are unlocking insights and enabling the generation of new, advanced therapeutics.
At Engitix, relationships are the foundation of accomplishment.
