The Scrum Master at aPriori is primarily responsible for ensuring the Agile maturity of our organization under the presumption that a more mature organization is more effective, efficient, healthy, and happy.
This role will bring continuous improvement and an agile mindset to their teams within the portfolio. This includes facilitating and driving the core ceremonies as well as longer term planning cycles. It includes guiding and coaching team members, product owners, and managers, while also identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
Location: Belfast, UK (Hybrid: 1-3 days a week in office)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • At least two years working in a professional technology setting
  • Demonstrative experience managing a product

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and other methodologies with over two years’ experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Coach
  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and consensus building skills
  • Requires ability to manage projects from conception to successful implementatio

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development team in using Agile methodology and practices
  • Lead the development team in achieving higher levels of Agile maturity
  • Help the development team become self-organizing and autonomous
  • Ensure the wellness of the team by monitoring and advocating for sustainable pace
  • Support the product owner and provide education where needed
  • Help the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Remove impediments and coach the development team on removing impediments
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that occur

Requirements:
