Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager, Scrum Master to join the Edelman Trust Stream team. This role is pivotal in driving the successful delivery of our Trust Stream product by leading agile practices, facilitating communication, and ensuring the team remains focused on achieving sprint goals. The Senior Manager, Scrum Master will work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to enhance team productivity and the overall quality of the Trust Stream product.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of coaching teams to delivering complex software products.
  • Strong knowledge of Scaled Agile frameworks (such as Scrum, Kanban, LESS, Spotify model, etc)
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Monday.com or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably within the analytics, AI, or SaaS industry.
  • Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) or other relevant Agile certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with analytics products, or data-driven insights is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Agile Leadership:
  • Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Trust Stream teams, guiding them in Agile best practices, ensuring that Scrum ceremonies are effective, and coaching team members in self-management.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring active participation and continuous improvement.

Project Management:

  • Collaborate with product owners to define sprint goals, prioritize the product backlog, and break down user stories into actionable tasks.
  • Monitor sprint progress and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments, ensuring the team can deliver high-quality increments on time.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce regular reports to stakeholders on sprint progress, team velocity, and product quality.

Team Development:

  • Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment, encouraging open communication and accountability, and psychological safety.
  • Mentor and support team members in their professional growth, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on product vision, goals, and timelines.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement improvements to the Scrum process, tools, and practices, ensuring the team remains efficient and focused.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the agility and scalability of the Trust Stream product, contributing to the broader agile transformation within Edelman.
