Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum Events: Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support the Product Owner: Assist in managing the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed and prioritized.
  • Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the teams progress and goal achievement.
  • Promote Agile Practices: Advocate for Agile methodologies and ensure the team follows Scrum practices., including building consensus on what can be achieved during each sprint cycle.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor team performance metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Provide insight into capacity building, team velocity, burndown rates, backlog aging and other relevant metrics in scaled agile framework.
  • Training and Coaching: Provide training and coaching to team members on Agile principles and practices.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and progress. Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in learning new skills quickly through knowledge procurement and peers. Detail oriented with advanced-level competencies in managing competing priorities.
  • Possesses a spirit of discovery and a relentless pursuit to problem solving.
  • Demonstrate advanced-level competencies in project management and leading teams operating within an Agile framework.
  • Demonstrate competencies in planning and facilitating key Agile framework events, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups (check-ins), post-sprint retrospection, and backlog administration.
  • Possesses clear understanding of technology interdependency from a business or clinical operations and IT system perspective on complex or enterprise level and can evaluate how work may impact other teams.
  • Analyze data and present information in a way that is understandable and supports decision making.
  • Understands and supports security practices and data controls. Possesses the ability to assess and evaluate risk regarding new and existing technologies.
  • Manages individual work efforts and completes assignments that meets quality results and desired outcomes under limited supervision.
  • Follows methodology and procedures set by IS Project Management Office (PMO) relative to Agile framework.
  • Identifies, promotes, and teaches advanced-level process and performance improvement opportunities to enhance team and departmental functions.
  • Promotes opportunities for change and innovation. Has developed a professional reputation that reflects and continues to demonstrate project management and Agile competencies, self-direction, and motivation to learn.Individuals are expected to make informed decisions independently, considering the broader impact on people, projects, and processes
