We’re seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Scrum Master to join our growing team, driving excellence, growth, and best practices in our Research and Development (R&D) center.
The Role:
As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge software solutions. Your primary focus will be on promoting agile methodologies, facilitating efficient teamwork, and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement within our globally dispersed teams.

A typical day will involve:

  • Leading daily standup meetings, fostering collaboration and addressing impediments.
  • Aligning with product owners on project priorities, maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders.
  • Facilitating problem-solving sessions and collaborating with cross-functional teams on solutions.
  • Identifying areas for process optimization and cultivating a culture of learning and adaptability.
  • Providing coaching on Agile principles and best practices, recognizing and encouraging growth opportunities.
  • Conducting effective sprint review and planning sessions, collaborating on backlog refinement and goal setting.
  • Communicating project progress and potential risks to stakeholders, engaging with fellow Scrum Masters for insights and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach Scrum teams in adopting and practicing agile principles.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Empower teams to self-organize and deliver high-quality products through effective collaboration and communication.
  • Create an environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and a sense of ownership.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, review, and retrospective ceremonies.
  • Ensure the team’s commitment to sprint goals and timelines.
  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver feature-rich software solutions.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and impediments effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in software development.
  • Promote and enforce Agile and Scrum principles to achieve optimal team performance.
  • Actively seek opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the overall organizational growth.
  • Implement strategies to optimize team productivity and efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters to enhance collaboration and problem-solving.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with global stakeholders and virtual teams.
  • Ability to navigate and bridge communication gaps in a diverse & international environment.
  • Proven expertise as a Scrum Master with a focus on global and virtual team leadership.
  • Strong understanding and application of Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills, actively facilitating solutions in a global context.
  • Ability to leverage data-driven insights for continuous improvements.
  • Experience in motivating and empowering diverse teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and ownership.
  • Familiarity with SaaS software development processes and best practices.
  • Effective alignment with product owners, managing stakeholder expectations globally.
  • Proven ability to work seamlessly across diverse cultures, adapting to and leveraging cultural differences.
  • Strong adaptability to changing project requirements and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Openness to staying informed on industry trends and technologies.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Travel/Environment
This is a full-time position. This position occasionally requires long hours and weekend work as job duties demand. Some out-of-area and possible out-of-country travel may be expected. Must be flexible to manage minimal travel. This job operates in a professional office environment as well as remote work when needed.
