Description:

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant and measurable experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or equivalent Agile certifications preferred.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, confluence).
  • Demonstrates a servant-leader mindset, putting the needs of the team first and helping them perform to the best of their abilities.
  • Proactively identifies and addresses challenges, removing impediments to team progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Organise and lead Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
  • Remove Impediments: Identify and address any obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
  • Promote Self-Organisation: Encourage and support the team in becoming self-organising and self-managing, fostering a collaborative and autonomous work environment.
  • Ensure Adherence to Agile Principles: Guide the team in adhering to Agile principles and practices, maintaining the integrity of the Scrum process.
  • Act as a Liaison: Facilitate communication between the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating regular retrospectives and implementing actionable feedback.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring to team members on Agile best practices and principles, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and report key Agile metrics to provide insights into team performance and identify areas for improvement.
