DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a researcher with a proven track record in carrying out life cycle assessments of new technologies and products, in particular with the use of advanced computational techniques (AI, ML). The candidate shall master Life Cycle Assessment and have a sound knowledge of the main databases, software solutions and life cycle impact assessment methods.
The successful candidate will work on three European research projects, Insight, Pink and I-Stentore, involving the development of AI and other computational approaches for LCA and the use of LCA to assess different scenarios of energy storages in batteries. She/he will work in multidisciplinary teams, together with other sustainability, computer science and energy systems experts.

EDUCATION BACKGROUND

Master’s degree in environmental engineering or computer science. PhD in life cycle assessment is mandatory.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Flawless knowledge of English (both spoken and written) is required.
Knowledge of German and/or French and/or Luxembourgish is considered as an asset.
