At Genesys, we are on a mission to deliver the concept called Experience as a Service. We build products to enable companies to connect via multiple channels (voice, video, social, etc.), and to provide context when engaging with their clients, making these connections meaningful, fast and memorable.
We do this via a SaaS (Software as a Service) product called Genesys Cloud, which supports 1M users making over 1 billion API (application programming interfaces) calls daily, enabling around 180M minutes of phone calls monthly and hosting 70B interactions yearly.
As we established our presence in Hungary with a core senior team, we are looking for high potential interns to help us deliver products faster, while spreading knowledge around SaaS product development and how those practices shape Customer Experience in the world.
Join us and you will be working with the latest technologies while gaining a better understanding of how the tests you write is supporting our deployments to our customers as we have an end-to-end ownership from development through testing to managing our CI/CD pipelines.

Some of the core technology that we currently use on our team, so you’ll have the opportunity to use your existing skills and learn:

  • Languages: JavaScript ES6, Typescript, Java
  • AWS Compute: EC2, Lambda
  • Deployment: Jenkins

As a software engineer in test intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in the QA activities of Genesys Cloud
  • Developing testing code for enhancements and fixes of existing functionalities
  • Participating in agile team ceremonies such as retrospectives and planning
  • Communicating regularly with colleagues and management to coordinate deliverables

What do you bring to the table?

  • Actively pursuing a BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline at a Hungarian university; with an expected finish after September 1st, 2025
  • Knowledge of software engineering and programming languages (e.g. Java, JavaScript or C#)
  • Some experience with JavaScript, Typescript.
  • Be a fast and eager learner
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
