Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled SDET (Quality Cloud Engineer), the successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and improving our customers complex technology landscape, which includes a mix of modern and legacy systems. This role requires a strong background in testing, an ability to build new frameworks, and exceptional skills in navigating and coordinating between multiple services, platforms, and business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain testing frameworks for a range of technologies including Java, Docker, and Python.
  • Lead the testing process for our integration platform, ensuring high reliability and performance.
  • Work closely with different teams and business units to understand and align with diverse technology stacks and goals.
  • Manage messaging and integration using Kafka, and work with legacy systems like TeamCity.
  • Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines, primarily using GitHub Actions.
  • Ensure compliance and optimal performance in our AWS hosted environment.
  • Document and report test results, and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages, such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Substantial experience with contract testing.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining test automation scripts for web, mobile, and/or API testing.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Git).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
