YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Relations, or similar
  • +3 years of experience in export operations
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding
  • Advanced English

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist supports customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, and responding to complaints. To provide front line support for clients and customers and to ensure that customers are satisfied with products, services, and features. To be accountable for maintaining excellent service for our internal and external customers. They are account owner of house accounts (personally own an account portfolio.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create/ complete shipment details in our internal data management system (Carrier/ Vessel, Item description, etc)
  • Coordinate with customer care, haulers and carriers
  • Create files for consolidation container (Master / Single)
  • Review and insure alignment of shipping instructions including to clarify any deviations/conflicts taking country regulations, compliance and rate and routing information into consideration
  • Ensure profit maximization
  • Immediately report problems, operation disputes or discrepancies to the direct report.
  • Monitor operational performance of carriers and other vendors and escalate / create awareness if performance and commitments are not being delivered - Initiate and resolve any rate discrepancies
  • Work with Customer Care on account implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to operations
  • Support the Customer Care team in resolving complaints
