Tetra Pak Development & Technology organization seeks to achieve value-driven innovation by defining new concepts, developing new technologies and engaging strong partnerships. Within Sealing Solutions & Materials Engineering, the Sealing Technology team is now looking for a Development Engineer who can help develop Sealing Components supporting our core technologies for package sealing in Tetra Pak filling machines.
You will be part of a team of technology experts working to design and develop the next generation of Sealing Components, to enable the sealing function of Tetra Pak packaging material in our filling machines. As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible to design and develop innovative solutions based on technical specifications in the relevant competence area. You will also be responsible to secure that the released Sealing Components are available, with expected quality level, over the full lifecycle. This is a permanent position based in Modena (Italy). You may be required to travel up to 20% of your time.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Development Engineer within Sealing Technology team, participating in technology development projects, Issue resolution activities and product lifecycle management.
- Be the responsible for Sealing components design, defining the technical attributes of the solution to enable a reliable sealing process, understanding the interactions with Tetra Pak packaging material, filling equipment and customer operations.
- Propose and drive Early Innovation activities, as well as technology scouting activities.
- Interact with key suppliers to enable the manufacturing of Sealing components according to specifications.
- Interact with broad range of stakeholders and manage communication related to your activities.
