Our Parks Department is looking for a dedicated Seasonal Labourer to join the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Class 5 drivers license, (no suspensions and less than six demerits)
• Current First Aid certification (required before start date)
• To work for Parks, you bring a great attitude and a love of working outdoors!

Seasonal Labourer (6 months or less):

• Performs labour using hands or hand tools.
• Sustained operation of minor, power or electronic equipment.
• Sustained and/or repeated heavy physical demand.

Seasonal labourers are responsible for a variety of work among parks crews throughout the summer months. You could be responsible for mowing and trimming grass, weeding and watering flowerbeds, landscaping duties, playground and ball diamond maintenance, weed spraying, tree pruning, or a variety of other tasks.
