The position will be responsible for coordinating and executing efficient tax processing practices in a national and centralized environment, including contract preparation, tax return assembly, delivery, and filing. May also scan tax documents received at the local office and provide general administrative duties to support line of business as required.
Essential Duties
1. Create Engagement Letters and Statements of Work from firm specific software (Contract Express), Monitor TESS Inbox
2. Print and assemble and deliver tax returns from firm specific software (CCH iFirm TaxPrep)
3. Responsible for learning, understanding and scanning client documents, and assigning scanned work to the appropriate staff through work flow
4. Filing of tax returns (E-file & paper file) using CCH iFirm Jobs
5. Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
- High School diploma or GED
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Experience utilizing office technical tools, including office scanners, printers, label machines and copiers.
- Basic Microsoft Office Skills
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS SPECIFIC TO JOB
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of the technology tools required within assigned responsibilities
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $16 - $24 per hou
