WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The intern, within Purchase Sebago team, will provide support to business area requirements planning activities, helping to set purchasing targets and inventory management.
The ideal candidate has a proactive approach and motivation, is results-orientated and has problem solving skills.
As a Purchasing Intern, the individual’s goal is to support the purchasing team. The intern will be responsible for monitoring and establishing relationships with suppliers, as well as managing data analysis and data management activities. The resource will be expected to demonstrate courtesy, friendliness, and kindness, while collaborating positively with the team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Management Engineer Bachelors’ or Master’s Degree;
  • Excellent knownledge and fluency in Italian; proficiency in English;
  • Advanced knownledge of MS Excel;
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills;
    At the end of the internship, if successful, there will be a direct placement in the company

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Monitoring the warehouse by analyzing its product rotation;
  • Identification of slow movers and obsolescents;
  • Analysis of historical sales and purchasing data by defining trends to support forecasts and help define procurement and consequently inventory targets;
  • Be the link between suppliers and the Brands for everything concerning the purchase phase.
  • Monitoring the shipments together with Logistic and Forwarders in order to optimize the timing and respect the timeline;
